Simon Dole expressed his disappointment with Virat Kohli’s sluggish batting during the Indian Premier League match between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Lucknow Supergiants.
Virat Kohli’s half-century was questioned by Simon Dole during the commentary, who claimed that Kohli only scored runs for himself and not for the team.
He claimed that Kohli started off his at-bat like a goods train, making excellent strokes but only needing 10 balls to get 42–50 runs.
According to Simon Dole, there is no longer a place for milestones in the T20 format since you have to play quickly after you have a wicket.
It should be remembered that Simon Dole had previously attacked Babar Azam, the captain of the Pakistan cricket team, for his batting.
During the Peshawar vs Quetta game in the PSL 8, Simon was criticised for saying that Babar Azam was too slow for a personal milestone.
At the turn of the century, he had stated that Babar ought to have concentrated on establishing boundaries rather than lowering the run rate.
