Babar Azam replied with his bat by smashing 100 in PSL
Peshawar Zalmi won the toss and elected to bat first. Excellent start was provided by Babar Azam and Saim Ayoub. Saim Ayoub scored 74 runs of just 34 balls. After Saim Ayoub got out Babar Azam took the charge and he played exceptional inning which helped Peshawar Zalmi to reach huge total of 240 runs.
Powell also scored fast 35 runs of just 18 balls. Babar Azam scored century of just 60 balls and he played exceptional through out the innings. Babar Azam smashed 15 boundries in his inning at strike rate of 176.
Bowling unit of Quetta Gladiators was completely destroyed and they failed to break opening partnership before 160 runs which put huge pressure on Quetta Gladiators.
