Pakistan National Women cricket team captain resigned she stated that she want to give chance to junior players, Najam Sethi accepted her resign . Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) management committee chief Najam Sethi wrote on the social networking website Twitter that he has accepted Bisma Maruf’s resignation.

He further said that Bisma wants to give opportunity to well-known young players. Najam Sethi said that it is a matter of happiness that she will continue to play for Pakistan and make her country famous. It should be noted that under the leadership of Bisma Maruf, the Pakistan women’s cricket team won 27 out of 62 T20 matches and lost in 32. Pakistan won 16 out of 34 ODIs under Bisma Maruf’s captaincy.

Najam Sethi tweeted “I have accepted resignation of @maroof_bismah Captain of Pakistan Women’s National Team. She wants to make way for a younger colleague. But happily she will continue to play for Pakistan and bring laurels for her country.” (Source twitter)
