Despite the fact that the ball struck the wicket, the Kiwi player was declared not out
In the first of three one-day matches played at Eden Park, New Zealand set Sri Lanka a target of 275 runs to win. New Zealand won by a score of 198 runs.
Finn Allen was facing the bowling of Sri Lankan bowler Rajantha in the third over of the innings when the ball hit his wickets and he was almost out but he was not out even though the stumps did not fall.

Finn Allen was batting on 9 runs at the time. It should be noted that in order for the batter to be out, at least one of the bail on the wickets must fall.
The video of Finn Allen not being out despite the ball hitting the wickets went viral on social media as well.
