Due to his direct criticism of Pakistani cricketers during the eighth season of the Pakistan Super League (PSL), Simon Doull is currently trending on social media.
The former New Zealand cricketer turned broadcaster may have put himself in danger after he was overheard discussing Hasan Ali’s wife during Islamabad United’s vital victory against Multan Sultans on Tuesday.
While Hasan Ali’s wife was seen on TV enjoying the victory, Doull was overheard on the radio making a joke about her.
“She has prevailed. I think she has also won a few hearts. That is wonderful, truly beautiful. And the triumph, “That was heard Doull declaring.
In the background, one of the other commentators could be heard chuckling at his statement.
Twitter users vented their ire at Doull’s comment and weren’t impressed.
