The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled a new logo for the upcoming World Cup in India.
The ICC released the new logo on Twitter six months before the start of the World Cup 2023, stating that on this day, Mahendra Singh Dhoni won the 2011 World Cup by defeating the Sri Lankan team.

“We are happy to reveal the trademark of the Men’s World Cup of Cricket 2023; we have a short period of 6 months in which to accomplish all preparations,” said ICC Chief Executive Geoff Allardyce on this occasion.”

 

On the other hand, Secretary of the Board of Cricket in India (BCCI) Jay Shah stated that hosting the World Cup in India was a great honour.
