Karachi: In the eighth match of Pakistan Super League Season 8, two traditional rivals are facing each other, in which Karachi Kings started batting first on the invitation of Lahore Qalandars. The match between Karachi Kings and Lahore Qalandars is being played at National Stadium in Karachi, the toss was in favor of Qalandars and captain Shaheen Shah Afridi won the toss and invited Imad XI to bat first. Karachi Kings got a great opening and Matthew Wade, James Vance added 70 runs in the first wicket partnership, after which Matthew Wade was run out by the keeper for 36 runs on a throw from Kamran Haider. The second out was Haider Ali who was shown the way to the pavilion by Dawson on 19 runs.
At the end of inning karachi kings were able to score 185-5 in 20 overs with the help of great partnership between Imad Wasim and Ben Cutting, their Stand was for 50 plus runs which helped karachi to reach total of 185.
