Quetta Gladiators captain Mohammad Nawaz won the toss and chose to field first in the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Ground. Usman Khan and Mohammad Rizwan opened the innings for Multan Sultans.

Multan Sultans scored 262 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs, with Tim David scoring 43 and Kieron Pollard remaining not out with 23 runs.

Qais Ahmed was the most expensive bowler for Quetta Gladiators, dismissing two players while giving 77 runs in four overs, while Muhammad Nawaz also gave 50 runs and took one wicket.

It should be noted that the highest score in PSL history, 247 runs, was achieved by Islamabad United against Peshawar Zalmi in 2021.
