Multan defeated Quetta with the highest score in PSL history
Quetta Gladiators captain Mohammad Nawaz won the toss and chose to field first in the match being played at the Rawalpindi Cricket Ground. Usman Khan and Mohammad Rizwan opened the innings for Multan Sultans.
Usman Khan played an aggressive game from the start and did not let the Quetta bowlers run. Usman Khan was the fastest bowler in the PSL, taking 36 balls. I got a century.
Usman Khan was out for 120 runs off 43 balls with 9 sixes and 12 fours, breaking his teammate Riley Russo’s record for the fastest PSL century in 41 balls.
Mohammad Rizwan also completed his fifty in 26 balls and was dismissed after 55 runs, while Riley Russo was dismissed after 15 runs.
Multan Sultans scored 262 runs for the loss of four wickets in the allotted 20 overs, with Tim David scoring 43 and Kieron Pollard remaining not out with 23 runs.
Qais Ahmed was the most expensive bowler for Quetta Gladiators, dismissing two players while giving 77 runs in four overs, while Muhammad Nawaz also gave 50 runs and took one wicket.
It should be noted that the highest score in PSL history, 247 runs, was achieved by Islamabad United against Peshawar Zalmi in 2021.
This is the 3rd consecutive matches teams are scoring massive totals, in the last two game it was chase above 240 runs in t20 cricket. With the evolution of cricket survival for the bowler has become very difficult on such a flat pitches.
