Peshawar Zalmi beat Quetta Gladiators well to advance in the PSL points standings.Quetta got off to a bad start because they were unable to counter Peshawar Zalmi’s strong pace attack. Despite Iftikhar Ahmed’s valiant half-century, Quetta’s chances of establishing a large score were hindered by a poor start. With a late burst from Iftikhar and Odean Smith, Quetta scored 154/7 in the end.
With of Mohammad Hasnain’s outstanding bowling performance, Peshawar struggled early on. Before Dasun Shanaka and Wahab Riaz completed the innings to give Peshawar the victory, Rovman Powell and Jimmy Neesham led the run chase with a strong partnership.
