The revelation that former cricketer Imran Nazir was imprisoned for three days
Imran Nazir described the incident of a pistol coming out of a bag at the airport in a podcast. Imran Nazir stated that his heart is clean, that everyone is aware of the incident, and that nothing came to light as a result of the investigation.
He stated that back then, I lived in Meredke and did not travel much; Miranam came for the under-19 team’s match against South Africa, and we were on our way to Karachi.

According to Imran Nazir, “while passing through the machine at the airport, I was asked whose bag this is, and I replied that it is mine.”
According to the former cricketer, “at the airport, I was asked three times whose bag it was, to which I replied that it was mine, then I was separated, and there were pistols and bullets lying on top of the bag.”
According to Imran Nazir, “at first I thought it was a toy, but it was all real, and the ground was gone from under my feet.” He stated that following this incident, I was handcuffed and held in jail for three days before the PCB became involved and I was properly held in jail.
According to Imran Nazir, when your intention is good, bad can never happen to you; those three days in jail felt like 30 years.He claimed that when he was released from jail, his coaches taught him to dismiss the incident as a nightmare and focus on cricket.
