In the post match press conference Shaheen Afridi said that reason behind batting in the top order was to go and play ball by ball and give a little stand to team.
In the match between Quetta Gladiators and Lahore Qalandars , Lahore Qalandars Batted first, after Fakhar Zaman the man in form got run out in the very first over after hitting 4 to Naseem shah. The Lahore Qalandars top order crumbled and Shaheen came to bat at the loss of 4 wickets and tried to get some quick runs and get boundaries to keep his team in the game.
Shaheen Afridi congratulated his team in the press conference, Quetta Gladiators started really well but unfortunately they ended up losing their 5th match.
